About me:
I'm a composer/producer with over a decade of experience with scoring, arranging, keyboard programming, engineering, and performing. I've scored for podcasts, films, games, and theatre, and music directed and performed limited runs of musical theatre productions, studio recordings, and tribute concerts.
It's nice to meet you!
I relish being able to help tell a story, or establish a sonic brand. Whether composing for a podcast, film, or game, I am excited by music's ability to further a creator's project. Because of my commitment to the project's success as a whole, I work in a wide range of genres, and do my best to find the style best suited to each score I contribute to.
I have very positive experiences with remote work. But, for those curious about locality, I am based in Lexington, KY.

Writing great music is only the first part of of being an effective contributor to a project. If you choose to work with me, know that I am committed to:
Discovering your needs:
When you're reaching out to find people to work on your project, sometimes it's difficult to know what the exact scope of work will be. It can be difficult to communicate what it is you're looking for, and sometimes, you may not even know what that is. That's okay!
As the composer for your project, I would build a shared vocabulary between us, and create the space for us to work together to find out what will best fit your project's needs. I would also work closely with you during the revision process, to make sure I understand your feedback completely.
Believing in the Project:
My first step to scoring a work is to become its biggest fan. Understanding a work and judging it on its own terms is the first step to understanding how to score it. By believing in a project completely, I'm as committed to a project's excellence as its creators.
Communicating Effectively:
I believe that good communication can make or break a creative partnership. I also believe that good communication can look different for different projects. Whether you have a design document for your game that you need updated regularly, or you want periodic check-ins regarding my progress, or you want to send me different reference tracks to review, I look forward to flexibly communicating my workflow and creative process in the way that is best for you.
I particularly pride myself on being able to highlight specific musical choices I've made, where I know there are alternate reads to a scene/level.

Recent Work:
Thirteen - Podcast (Fully scored)
You can listen to Thirteen anywhere you listen to podcasts. New episodes release the 13th of every month. As each episode is a different story, music styles vary widely. |
|
Everyone's Better Than Me - Main Theme
In addition to scoring a brassy, groove-driven main theme, I was given the opportunity to improvise a five-page musical with a talented cast in the fifth episode. |
|
Someone Dies In This Elevator - Barrage's Last Stand
I scored an episode of this award-winning anthology podcast. This episode features vintage FM synths, rhythm driven action ostinatos, and a 16-bit video game aesthetic. |
